Minnesota State Patrol Upgrades to Power 911
Denver, Colorado, May 13, 2003
In the early morning hours of May 6, the Roseville PSAP of the Minnesota State Patrol upgraded to Power 911 and Power MIS. The upgrade occurred ahead of schedule and coincided with the added complexity of moving into new premises.
Mr. Rick Juth, Radio Communications Supervisor with the Minnesota State Patrol, said of the on-site Positron support 'Avi was a joy to work with and his commitment, flexibility and willingness to work the customer, made our upgrade to Power 911 very successful and "uneventful".'
Power 911 is a comprehensive intelligent integrated workstation, providing a flexible graphical user interface to manage all E9-1-1 operations. Through an intelligent approach to information display and management, Power 911 allows the Roseville PSAP to process calls more efficiently and consistently. Power MIS is a reporting and analysis tool, providing a complete view into the volume of activity at the PSAP and the performance of the operators.
Roseville is the first and largest of 10 PSAP upgrades for the Minnesota State Patrol. Since selecting Positron as their E9-1-1 solution over five years ago, these upgrades demonstrate the remarkable return on investment from their vendor of choice. Once complete, the Minnesota State Patrol will be operating the state-of-the-art intelligent workstation and have the power to respond to new technologies and challenges.
Positron Public Safety Systems, with US headquarters located in Atlanta, Georgia, is the leader in fully integrated, end-to-end public safety solutions for call taking and dispatch.
