Positron gives the Pearl Street 9-1-1 Communication Center

The Pearl Street 9-1-1 Communication Center, Minnesota, is a consolidated dispatch center serving two counties and various cities within those counties. The Center required a true multi-jurisdictional law enforcement records management system to serve multiple agencies. Additionally, there was the need to convert historical data from older systems.

Pearl Street 9-1-1 selected Power RMS after a careful review of their needs and what was available. Positron completed conversion from the old system in a very short time frame. When asked about the installation support, Barb Brewington said "Every issue we have taken to them during the process of bringing up our RMS System has been dealt with immediately and effectively."

The Pearl Street system is a fully integrated Criminal Justice System, including the following major items:

• Records and investigation management including arrests, offenses, suspects, and property
• Automatic real-time records transfer to a State CJRS system (distributed database updating)
• Utilizes a CITRIX environment for low bandwidth network utilization
• Full multiple agency capabilities are utilized including extensive security features for multiple agencies and multiple roles within each agency
• Full integration and downloading with their CAD system

Power RMS is a modular records management system that provides flexible access to agency activity records. Power RMS uses a powerful relational database to manage a wealth of information about people, property, incidents and other data.
