Leading the Convergence of Public Safety Technology:
Positron Public Safety Systems Announces First Ever Integrated Desktop
Montreal & New York, June 11, 2007

Positron Public Safety Systems, a leading provider of public safety communications solutions announced today the unveiling of its premiere product offering: the industry’s first fully integrated desktop. For the first time, public safety professionals will have access to everything they need to handle the entire workflow of the emergency response organization --- 9-1-1 call-handling, geographic location display, computer aided dispatch, radio communications and records management --- from one source and on a single screen. The new desktop will be unveiled in Charlotte, North Carolina at the NENA Annual 9-1-1 Conference & Trade Show.

Positron Public Safety Systems is revolutionizing the way public safety organizations do business. This convergence of technology will enable customers to work with a single vendor for all their communications needs, rather than having to manage multiple vendors and loosely-coupled applications. This enables emergency responders to serve their constituents more efficiently and effectively. Performance is optimized through better data sharing and workflow automation. Customers have a single point of contact from sourcing through to maintenance and support.

Doug Roberts, Vice President and General Manager, Positron Public Safety Systems, said, “Positron’s convergence of technology and single point of contact concept sets a new standard paradigm for operations in public safety, and we’re proud to be leading this evolution. Positron Public Safety System offers the only true native system design capability that covers emergency response from start to finish. This will help emergency responders do their jobs better, faster and more efficiently.”
