Leon County Sheriff's Office, FL - Ready to Roll

The Leon County Sheriff's Office and its Division of Emergency Management are proud of their state-of-the-art Mobile Command and Communications Center (MCCC). Housed in a semi tractor-trailer, the MCCC is fully self-sufficient to project complete command and control anywhere, anytime.

The MCCC was designed to provide the following services:
- To compliment or replace any existing 9-1-1 center in the State of Florida. It can provide an agency a place to operate during an emergency such as a hurricane or terrorist attack.
- To provide on-scene command and control for emergency response and act as a mobile deterrent.
- To provide a remote interface to the public via an accessible staging area and duty desk to disseminate accurate information to the news media and other officials.

The MCCC is designed to be as comfortable as it is effective. Led by Merle Ladd, 9-1-1 Systems Manager, the design of the MCCC provides an ergonomic and secure layout from which to do business.

Positron's call handling solution gives the MCCC the Power to Respond™. It provides a complete mobile 9-1-1 communications center with the following features:
