Positron is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Martorano as its new Director of Project Management. Mark brings over 24 years of professional Public Safety experience in assessing, designing, and implementing a wide range of telecommunications and technology-based projects leveraging his project and senior level management experience in voice, data, and radio communications systems, in the public safety, healthcare, and private sectors. Mark provided technical engineering for CAD specifications and development on a nationwide basis. His major projects have included Enhanced 9-1-1, 800 radio, CAD, mapping, emergency communications center design, RMS, mainframe downsizing to mid-range and client server-based platforms, LAN/WAN data center operations, disaster recovery planning, asset management, network security, and technology acquisition and deployment methodology. Mark was recognized for outstanding Public Safety service by Mayor of Pittsburgh, Sophie Masloff, and Director of Public Safety, Glenn Cannon.
