Celebrating our first anniversary since the acquisition by IPC, Positron Public Safety Systems has grown, integrated numerous product and solutions and significantly raised the standard of customer service to the industry. Service Drawing from IPC's experience in service excellence and its financial strength, Positron proceeded with a multi-million dollar investment to improve the caliber of customer service. Key improvements included; a state-of-the-art help desk, a national project management team, 24/7 surveillance capabilities, implementing a CRM system for enhanced services, and hiring additional staff for training, staging and local support. In addition, Positron will be leveraging on IPC's presence across the globe in order to provide local service and support. This investment is a testament to the level of service excellence our customers can expect from our company. Acquisitions | Products On the products front, the acquisition represented a significant win for both companies. IPC has invested heavily in its Command and Control product portfolio over the past several years both in the radio dispatch consoles (Orbacom) and data applications (Geo911) markets. As a result, Positron offers today fully integrated solutions, covering every workflow element of a PSAP's center. Customers can now manage call taking (land line or VoIP-based), dispatching, mapping, radio dispatching, remote / mobile data communications, records management and more via one desktop station!
